Kite POS - How to record the Bills of Purchase Order(PO)(Best Online POS Billing Software with Inventory and Accounting)

Business can receive BILLs from Supplier to settle payment against a PO or they can receive BILL from Supplier directly without PO in case of services availed or direct shipping or items or settle BILL on the go.

Steps.

• Select the PO for which to create bill transaction by right click on PO, then select the 'Bill' menu from the popup.

• It will display the list of Bills for that PO, click '+' on the top, will bring up the the purchase order details, click on bill item in the grid, will bring up the item detail screen where you can specify the bill quantity, price, discount and tax etc.

• The PO can be billed with multiple bills. Partial items, partial quantities of item, etc., When all the items across multiple bills of the PO is complete then PO BILL Status will become BILLED.

• When the BILL created, it can be marked as DRAFT

• When the BILL is verified, it can be marked as OPEN

• When the payment made partially against the BILL, payment can be recorded and the BILL becomes PARTIALLY_PAID

• When the BILL entire payment made then payment is recorded and status becomes PAID
